Take a gander at Public School 702, the California-based “garstropub” opening its first Nevada location at Downtown Summerlin on Monday, June 8. The restaurant fancies itself as ““An Education in the Art of Food & Beer.”
Inside the 14,000-square-foot venue sitting on the second level in the Dining Arroyo area feels like an old timey school house with touches of contemporary design. Sit at one of the communal tables and traditional booths in the dining room and large patio that looks directly out to the Strip.
For those who need a little recess, aka happy hour, find a walkup bar, beer pong tables, shuffle board, over-sized Jenga and Connect Four outside.
