Las Vegas isn’t really known for its pop-up events with a special guest chef touching down at a restaurant for a one-night-only event. But one chef, Jet Tila, just can’t seem to stay away from Sin City. The former executive chef of Wazuzu at Wynn Las Vegas pops into Vegas Feb. 8 for a five-course dinner with drinks prepped by Tony Abou-Ganim, the mixologist and author who created cocktail programs in San Francisco, New York and Las Vegas at Origin India Restaurant and Bar. Tila plans a menu of regionally inspired Thai dishes from his childhood, while Abou-Ganim will shake up drinks from his book The Modern Mixologist: Contemporary Classic Cocktails. Think of this family-style night as what Tila did around his dinner table. Dinner for $65 starts at 7 PM. For reservations, email OriginIndia@langdonflynn.com with Pop-Up Dinner in the subject line.
