Seems like all the former chefs at Wynn Las Vegas eventually come back to Sin City with a special dinner at Marché Bacchus French Bistro & Wine Shop. This time, it’s Alex Stratta, whose monumental two Michelin star French restaurant Alex at Wynn closed last year. Stratta, his Italian namesake restaurant, is still open there, but Stratta the chef is no longer involved. Late last year, he opened Bigoli, an Italian restaurant in New York City.
Stratta will return to his French roots to serve up a four-course dinner paired with wines from Chateau Montelena at Marché Bacchus Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. The James Beard Award-winning chef has been working as a consultant with Marché Bacchus, and was recently featured on the third season of Top Chef Masters. The cost is $89 per person. For reservations, call 702-804-8008.
