Looks like Firefly is about to open its third location, this time heading south to Henderson. The tapas and sangria favorite plans to take over the former Rare Steakhouse locale on Eastern Avenue. This rendition features an outdoor balcony in the second-floor space near Anthem.
Owner and chef John Simmons told Vegas Inc he plans to serve new dishes and brunch in addition to tapas and sangria staples.
Firefly already has locations on Paradise Road and in Summerlin on Sahara Avenue. The outpost at the Plaza overlooking Fremont Street closed when the casino underwent renovations and is now occupied by Oscars Beef, Booze and Broads.
The Henderson version of Firefly plans to open in March.
