Pinkberry's neighbors at hoity-toity shopping mall Crystals will be equally down-market. I AM Burgers & Brews is taking the over the void next to the yogurt titans, part of a three-store Crystals annex situated in front of the Mandarin Oriental.

The 5,000-square-foot space has long been dormant since the Carolina Herrera boutique closed shop. The burger joint has allotted $300,000 for remodeling. I AM Burgers will only occupy the ground floor, but following Pinkberry's recent move of placing tables on the sidewalk, the option for Strip-side seating is available.

The other annex resident, men's designer clothing store Kiton, vacated the corner property earlier this summer and will soon re-launch inside Crystals. Rumors continue to swirl that this corner space will be filled by a Starbucks Concept Store, similar to one launched in Amsterdam in March.

The European project features bespoke local design and furnishings, and a stage for music and performances. Starbucks refers to these retail experiments as "design sandboxes" used to test new products and serving methods. This similar-sized Las Vegas version would offer prototype versions of future Starbucks coffees and food. No word if a theatrical element is part of the rumored mix.
