Inconceivable! Gordon Ramsay Opening Two Restaurants This December

Vegas domination must be on the mind of Gordon Ramsay. He plans to do what no chef has done before — open two restaurants in one week at two different resorts here. Word is out that after the shouty chef opens his British gastropub Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace on Dec. 10 he will stick around to open Flame Burger at Planet Hollywood Resort on Dec. 17. He opened Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas in May.

The 7,613-square-foot Gordon Ramsay Pub, taking over the former Bradley Ogden space, plans to serve up fish and chips, roasted chicken and bangers and mash from a maze of British-themed rooms. The restaurant will also offer craft and microbrews from around the world, as well as 40 beers on tap.

The 5,660-square-foot Flame Burger wraps around the Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood with a "Flame Burger Company" sign affixed to a still-in-creation "flame-effect wall," constructed with cool-to-touch tempered glass. Two 360-degree, self-serve keg stations with five beer-serving taps per side make up Ramsay's twist on a soda fountain.

Ramsay plans to be in town this weekend to check out the progress at both locations.
