Aria Retreats to Rearm in Vegas Buffet Wars

The Vegas buffet wars dig in for winter battle. Effective immediately, the Buffet at Aria will be closed for re-modelling until an unspecified date in late December. The 8,800-square-foot buffet has allocated at least $3,500,000 for the overhaul, which will include "a redesign of the buffet stations and culinary offerings, signage, restaurant layout, color palate and more."

Although Strip properties have anxiously noticed the launch press-coverage and long customer lines of the $17 million Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace, Aria's project pre-dates the hoopla and was green-lit back in March of this year.
