New Fall Menu at N9NE; Asian Food Festival

PALMS — N9NE Steakhouse has added new items to the menu for fall. They include Kobe beef short ribs served over horseradish mashed potatoes, melted root vegetables and black truffle-red wine sauce; sea scallops served with butternut squash ravioli, chanterelle mushrooms and a sage beurre blanc; organic Scottish salmon with celery root puree, sunburst squash, zucchini, roasted tomato vinaigrette; Pacific sea bass served with baby fennel, black kale, heirloom cherry tomatoes, preserved lemon vinaigrette; an heirloom tomato salad and the colossal shrimp cocktail. SILVERTON — More than 25 authentic Asian food vendors and food trucks will participate in the second annual Asian Food Festival from noon to midnight on Saturday, Oct. 20, and from noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charity of Greater Las Vegas. Tickets to the event are $10 per person, which includes entry for both days and guests can find $2 discounted coupons on the tray liners at more than 80 McDonald's locations in the Las Vegas valley. VIP packages, priced at $50 per person, includes early admission at 11 a.m. on both festival days, VIP valet parking, premium sake tasting, a VIP goodie bag, appetizers and small bites, a hosted open bar by Lee's Liquor and access to a private VIP tent.
