Round Two for Bonefish Grill at Town Square

Bonefish Grill is giving it a second shot. The seafood restaurant chain is returning to Las Vegas, to build from scratch on a vacant Town Square lot near the southwest corner of Sunset Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. A Henderson branch was shuttered in 2010.

The 5,107-square-foot venture will follow their familiar design pattern seen in 28 states. Stone and aluminum frontage, awnings over the windows and a signature color scheme of mangrove and coral. Inside, plenty of fish imagery, the skeleton logo etched onto mirrors behind the bar. The low-key lit main dining section is ringed by booths. An additional bar-dining area is adjacent to a long bar that will serve up a Bonefish Martinis.

Inside seats 207, while 55 can be served on the building's main asset, an outside patio and waiting area. The patio faces Texas de Brazil, the churrascaria neighbor across the street.

The majority of the chain's 158 restaurants are open only for dinner, serving their signature dish, the spicy sauced Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. Bonefish Grill operated on Eastern Avenue from 2006 until 2010. No opening date has been announced for this return to Nevada.
