Henderson Lands Its First Firehouse Subs

Firehouse Subs landed in Henderson today with its first location at 501 Marks St. The restaurant features a hand-painted mural inside the dining room that illustrates a Henderson Fire Department ladder truck and the department's training center.

The restaurant also features a Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain with more than 120 sparkling and still beverage brands.

This is the second Firehouse Subs restaurant for franchisee Bob Rather.

The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Also, all 538 Firehouse Subs restaurants will celebrate Fire Safety Month in October by selling $1 and $5 medallions in order to raise much-needed funds for the foundation. Guests who purchase a medallion will receive a free Duracell 9-volt battery for their home smoke detector.
