First the Playboy Club shuts down. Now Rain Nightclub is next in line to see its fire fizzle out. Word came out that the nightclub off the casino floor at the Palms will shut down following Saturday night's Halloween-themed "Night of the Killer Costumes" party.
About 50 employees could be effected by the shuttering of the 25,000-square-foot club.
Fear not. Early next year the N9NE Group plans to begin construction on a new club in the space.
And fans who miss the final night on Saturday can get one last look at the space Dec. 29-31 when R&B singer Kelly Rowland, Travis Barker from Blink-182 and rapper Yelawolf put on a final set of shows.
The Playboy Club shuttered in June, leaving Ghostbar and Moon Nightclub as the surviving nightclubs at the Palms.
