Talk about a game changer. Now Meatball Spot at Town Square announces that none other than Carla Pellegrino created the Italian-centric menu when it opens in November in the former Nu Sanctuary space. The fiery chef will be one of 21 contestants on Top Chef: Seattle when it debuts next month. She also has Bacio at the Tropicana Las Vegas and Bratalian Neapolitan Cantina in Henderson
Naturally, the menu focuses on meatballs of all varieties — classic, pork, beef, chicken, turkey, lamb and vegetarian. But wait. There's more. Weekly specials will include items like Buffalo chicken meatballs with bleu cheese, taco meatballs and more. The sauces include pesto, garlic parmesan, spicy meat sauce, mushroom gravy, classic tomato and a daily specialty sauce.
Look for sandwiches, Roman-style pizzas, salads and more.
The restaurant also plans to serve up a drink menu of floats, sangrias, margaritas and mojitos.
The 7,000-square-foot restaurant that seats 250 still doesn't have an exact opening date.
