The Food & Wine All-Star Weekend kicks off Friday, and tickets remain for many of the dining events taking place at the MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio and Aria.
Want to dine with Food & Wine's Gail Simmons while taking in afternoon tea? Joel Robuchon's executive pastry chef Kamel Guechida serves it up with the Top Chef judge on Friday afternoon.
If tequila tickles your fancy, Diego is holding a happy hour on Friday with 15 varieties of tequila and Mexican bites.
Nosh on desserts Friday night at an event at mIX Lounge with signature cocktails and custom desserts.
One uber-swanky event that still has tickets — a champagne and sashimi event with chef Masa Takayama and Simmons at BarMasa on Saturday afternoon. Takayama sabers a champagne bottle and then serves up flights of the champagnes paired with sashimi. The event ends with Angel Champagne and Toro Caviar, Takayama's signature dish.
Originally the food event planned a tasting at the Mirage, but that was combined with the Surfside Soirée on Saturday night, making that the night to try samples from Mandalay Bay chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Miliken of Border Grill, Hubert Keller of Fleur, Michael Mina of StripSteak, Rick Moonen of RM Seafood and Vincent Pouessel of mIX.
This is just a sampling of some of the events that still have tickets. So far, only three events are sold out — the All-Star Lunch at Sage, Jasmine Dreams of Dim Sum and Four Farms, Three Chefs, Two Brothers and One Table at the Bellagio.
