Surprise, surprise. Javier's at Aria finally opened on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The restaurant out of Orange County that originally planned to open in May shocked everyone by opening under the radar.
Moorish windows look in on the sprawling restaurant. At the center, a monstrously huge curved bar that mesmerizes gamblers as they walk by and dominates the space. Black leather booths hug the outside while white stucco coats the walls.
Inside, carved wood and sheaths of beads reminiscent of a chandelier create eye-catching design elements. Whites and blacks with occasional amber highlights pepper the interior.
Javier's claims to have the largest selection of premium tequilas in Orange County. Look for regionally influenced home-style Mexican cooking.
