Accolades galore have already come to the new $17 million Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. USA Today crowned it the best buffet in Vegas.
Here's a look inside this behemoth, a 25,000-square-foot space with a long, long, long buffet that snakes around the three dining experiences. The nine live-action kitchens pepper the line and prevent backups of people waiting for food. Guests can interact with the chefs, request their own flair on a dish or simply find out what the heck this is.
The other side of the space features the dining rooms for 600, but the construction makes it feel much smaller. Glass moves on to a warmer wood room and on to a cooler steel recluse.
Interior designer Super Potato used 4,500 metal pieces, 9,500 wood blocks and 8,800 squares of glass to create the look.
Throughout the buffet that snakes around through the three sections find more than 3,600 jars filled with spices and food lining the walls, as well as more than 16,000 bowls, plates, glasses, jars and kitchen wares make up another design element.
