MANDALAY BAY — Border Grill celebrates National Food Day on Oct. 24 with a two-course lunch for $20 that includes a sampling of vegetarian appetizers and choice of grilled fish tacos, turkey tostada, vegetable enchiladas, market vegetable quesadilla or roasted potato rajas relleno. For dinner, guest can order two courses for $25 that includes a sampling of vegetarian appetizers and a choice of sauteed shrimp, Yucatan pork, vegetable enchiladas or roasted potato rajas relleno. MARRIOTT — Now Ceres Restaurant offers a monthly three-course, seasonal menu every Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. The tasting menu from executive chef Bruce Knapik changes monthly and allows patrons to sample some of the best dishes of the season. The October edition will be available through Nov. 3 for $29.99. In October, guests can choose either a mixed greens salad tossed with fresh fruit, blue cheese crumbles and candied pecans or a house made minestrone with fresh vegetables and Cannellini beans. There are three choices for the main course: breaded veal with saffron risotto; seafood strew with shrimp, scallops and mahi-mahi; or whole wheat penne pasta with a basil pesto.
