The Sign Is Up at Kim Canteenwalla's Honey Salt

Nora's Wine Bar and Osteria is no more. Now the last vestige of the restaurant formerly at Rampart Commons is gone. Honey Salt, the new restaurant opening in time for Halloween from the first couple of Las Vegas' culinary scene — Society Cafe's Kim Canteenwalla and his wife, über-restaurant maven Elizabeth Blau, just put up its new sign outside the restaurant.

Already the couple has removed the bar that greeted guests to the right and built a new bar to the left of the entrance.

As the countdown to opening day continues, gird your stomach for craft cocktails and farm-to-table dishes inspired by the couple's trips. Joseph Zanelli, formerly at Lakeside at Wynn Las Vegas, will be in the kitchen as the executive chef. Honey Salt plans to serve lunch and dinner with weekend brunches and seating for 140.
