The Las Vegas Beverage Blowout held its first Industry Appreciation Gala on Monday night at the Plaza.
Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim was honored with a lifetime of achievement for advancing the beverage industry. Vesper Bar at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was named best cocktail menu and bar of the year in Vegas.
Marche Bacchus was named best wine list.
Todd English P.U.B. at Crystals received best beer menu while the Whisky Attic was named best spirits list.
Hyde Bellagio received best new bar design, and American Fish by Michael Mina at Aria was named best casino bar staff, with Herbs & Rye named best bar staff.
Nick Hetzel at Aria was named sommelier of the year and Mariena Mercer at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was named bartender of the year.
