Beaujolais Nouveau Dishes at Mon Ami Gabi; More

PARIS LAS VEGAS — On the third Thursday of every November, the much-anticipated French wine Beaujolais Nouveau is released, and the race begins to deliver the first bottles to different markets around the world. In celebration of this French tradition, Mon Ami Gabi is offering Beaujolais Nouveau-inspired specials from Thursday, Nov. 15, through Wednesday, Nov. 21. Specials include an amuse bouche of celery root remoulade with pommery mustard or an order of the oysters du jour with a Beaujolais Mignonette. The soup special is a cream of garlic soup with savoy cabbage, flageolet beans and duck confit. The sandwich special is a Boudin Blanc with warm red cabbage-apple slaw and celery seed aioli. Fish lovers can order a pan-seared whitefish with red potatoes, Brussels sprout leaves, caramelized garlic and a Beaujolais bacon sauce. LAS VEGASClaim Jumper restaurants will show their support for Opportunity Village during the month of November with Feast for a Claus at all three Vegas area locations. To encourage registration for the 2012 Las Vegas Great Santa Run, Claim Jumper will donate 15 percent of Feast for a Claus sales to Opportunity Village. A special menu includes Mistletinis, Reindeeritas, Elves' Mini Tri Tip Dips, a Sleigh Full of Loaded Skins, Santa's Turkey Supper, Mrs. Claus' Whiskey Apple Glazed Chicken and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Pie. Additionally, Claim Jumper patrons who sign up for the Great Santa Run throughout November will receive $5 off of their registration fee and a complimentary order of Rudolph's Onion Rings with the purchase of an entrée.
