Say Goodbye to the Bordello-Inspired CatHouse

The bordello-inspired CatHouse shuttered last Monday at the Luxor.

The space, modeled after a 1940s bordello, served as a restaurant and nightclub for those looking for something a bit different. The hallway leading to the club was decked out in framed photographs of real prostitutes, while the boudoir feel of the space featured red drapes, stages of individual performances and sexy lighting.

When it opened in 2007, chef Kerry Simon was behind the menu at the venue, serving up tapas, while models posed in sexy lingerie while performing choreographed vignettes. Simon closed the restaurant portion of the club in 2010.

MGM Resorts says plans for the space will be revealed at a later time.
