Welcome to Eater's First-Ever Cocktail Week

Cocktail%20Week%20Logo_v3.jpgLadies and gentlemen, Eater readers of all ages, please inch a little closer to the computer screen for a special announcement. Starting right now and ending, oh, around 5 p.m. Friday, Eater will be your headquarters for all things cocktails for this, our first ever Eater Cocktail Week. We're going to show you some of the most expensive drinks in town, talk to bartenders about some of their favorite places to imbibe, give you some dandy hangover remedies and darn fine happy hours and feature all manner of maps and guides and a whole lot more.

And that's just here on the site. Out in the real restaurant world, some of Eater's favorite spots are putting together special, limited-time only, made just for Cocktail Week specials on their menus. Check out what's on offer below.

In the meantime, Eater wants you to get your drink on. Head over to one of these restaurants for a special cocktail made just for Cocktail Week.

First up, the Down for the Count cocktail at RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay. JR Starkus created the drink with Casa Noble Anejo Tequila, St. Germain, Fernet Branca, fresh lemon, agave nectar and Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters.

Hyde Bellagio is offering an egg nog liquid nitrogen cocktail just for Cocktail Week for $18.

Strip House at Planet Hollywood Resort has an Apple Pear Martini for $12.

It's never too early to cocktail.

Try one, try them all, have fun, and happy Eater Cocktail Week.

Have a favorite drink, a novelty cocktail holder you can't resist or favorite spot to imbibe? The Eater tipline is open.
