Bagatelle's Brunch Debuts This Weekend; More

TROPICANA — Bagatelle stepped up its game to start serving the Champagne brunch this weekend. The soiree kicks off with two special parties, featuring music by deejay Stan Courtois and performances by Natty Rico Sax, Lucent Dossier and other special guests. Signature brunch items from executive chef John Zamarchi include pancakes Bagatelle with buttermilk pancakes and banana's Foster; eggs Bagatelle with smoked salmon and American caviar; eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon, spinach and Hollandaise sauce; lobster omelet with Maine lobster, asparagus, tomato and Boursin cheese; and a Scottish salmon scramble with smoked Scottish salmon, American caviar and toast. TOWN SQUARE — Runners dressed up as Santas invade the shopping center this Saturday, but all can find some food to fill their bellies when 10 food trucks show up for Opportunity Village's Great Santa Run. Chi Town Hustler, Slidin Thru, Fat Daddy's Ice Cream and Treats, Great Bao, Sauced, Lola D's, Grouchy Johns Coffee and more will help the participants restore some of those calories.
