Vic 'Vegas' Moea Opening His Own Restaurant

Vic "Vegas" Moea, who made a name for himself on Food Network Star, plans to open his own restaurant in early January.

Dubbed, what else?, Vic's, the restaurant plans to open in the Sun City Anthem Country Club in the former Trumpets space.

Moea tells Al Mancini, "[The menu will be] "a little bit more of an upscale gourmet junk food." 

Former Artisan executive chef Jay Tepper is on board as well.
