Donald Trump will probably be yelling, "You're fired," when he finds out that the Southern Nevada Health District shut down his namesake restaurant DJT at the Trump International Hotel on Nov. 2 during a routine inspection.
Violations included spoiled food, commercially approved food from unapproved sources without labels, potentially hazardous foods not stored at the proper temperatures and more. In all, the restaurant racked up 51 demerits.
Earlier this year in February, SNHD inspected the restaurant and gave it 20 demerits and a B grade. A re-inspection on March 21 brought the restaurant back up to an A grade.
The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
