That recent health inspection at Ellis Island Restaurant by the Southern Nevada Health District reached an all-time low. "During the inspection, the person in charge came to the table where inspectors were writing their report and told them they had to leave because Ellis Island was private property and inspectors were not allowed to be on their property," KTNV reports. The routine inspection on Oct. 29 found 60 demerits before inspectors were asked to leave. [KTNV]
