Four days after Gordon Ramsay opens Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace on Dec. 18, he plans to do the unthinkable — debut a second restaurant on the Strip within one week. Gordon Ramsay BurGR will make its entrance Dec. 22 at Planet Hollywood Resort.
Since September, Eater Vegas has reported on the third Ramsay concept, initially dubbed Flame Burger for its wall of cool-touch flames, but this marks the first official word that the restaurant coming next to the Extra Lounge actually exists. Ketchup-colored chairs and banks of mustard yellow booths. The floor matches the burger palette with curved red and yellow concrete. The dark brown wood fixtures complete the look.
Naturally, the menu will include burgers, fries and milkshakes. Other menu items include pork belly bao buns, sweet potato fries with vanilla powdered sugar and pudding shakes, which combine pudding with a milkshake. The burgers — which use short ribs, brisket and chuck — will be cooked over an open flame that uses hard woods as a fuel, basted with Devonshire butter and topped with milk-based brioche buns made fresh daily.
Now the pudding shakes come in flavors such as chocolate milkshake with double chocolate pudding and caramel milkshake with butterscotch pudding. Each is topped with flavored cookie crisps and whipped cream.
BurGR will serve 30 American craft beers from a frozen tap wall.
Allison Leach, who designed the uniforms at Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas, also designed the uniforms here.
Now for a video from the coming restaurant.
