Andre's Brings in The Dalmore; Stations Drops Prices

MONTE CARLOAndre's Cigar Lounge brings back its Whisk(e)y Wednesdays Dec. 5 with The Dalmore. Guests can taste five Dalmores, including 12, 15 and 18-year blends, in addition to the very rare Cigar Malt and King Alexander IIIs. STATION CASINOS — Pasta Cucina locations at Boulder Station, Palace Station, Texas Station and Sunset Station and The Broiler Steak & Seafood at Boulder Station and Palace Station, Fuego at Fiesta Henderson, The Charcoal Room at Santa Fe Station, Austins at Texas Station and Sonoma Cellar at Sunset Station have lowered dozens of prices across the board. At steakhouses, prices on nearly all entrees were lowered as much as $8. Pasta Cucina now has appetizers beginning at $4.99, soups and salads beginning at $3.99 and entrées that include soup or house salad and warm breadsticks beginning at $6.99. The highest priced item on the entire menu, the Tuscan steak made with blue cheese and served with roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions and Parmesan potatoes, costs only $12.99. [EaterWire]

LAS VEGAS — Grimaldi's Pizzeria will start serving up Peppermint Cheesecake, a new winter cheesecake made with an Oreo cookie piecrust and garnished with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Slices are $5 each. [EaterWire]

SPRINGS PRESERVE — Springs Cafe, operated by the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, introduced a new winter a la carte menu. Executive sous chef Jason Reynolds created the new menu that contains wood-fired pizzas, soup and salad bar, pasta, house-made ranch potato chips and more for kids such as crispy chicken fingers and whole wheat penne pasta.
