Something Boringly Familiar Is Brewing at Aria

Steps from Aria's forward-thinking overhaul of The Buffet, the resort goes backward and shuttered Sweet Chill, replacing it with an under construction Starbucks.

A space-age-lite looker, Sweet Chill served up gelato, pastries and sandwiches and was most popular with conventioneers, the upper floor location often proving out of sight and mind for many tourists and guests. Similar menu selections are available downstairs at the Jean Philippe Patisserie.

Sweet Chill had recently featured an expanded menu during The Buffet's construction phase and remains listed on Aria's website.

A November dated resort map also indicates an adjacent "Aria on the Go" is coming soon, although the quickie snack sounding spot is listed under the Shops & Boutiques rubric. The Buffet has a promised late December opening date and the Starbucks touts an early spring bow.
