Tacos El Chante at 2219 E. Fremont St. found itself in hot water with the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection on Dec. 5 found no potable or hot water.
The imminent health hazard called for the immediate closure of the restaurant, which is so new, no other record of it can be found online.
SNHD inspectors also found no hot and cold running water from an approved source and the staff not washing their hands properly.
The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
