Eater’s 4th Annual Hottest Chef in LV Contest Starts Today

Ladies and gents, boys and girls, Eater readers in the Las Vegas area: did you hear the forecast calls for a high of 68 today? Sounds like the perfect time to launch Eater's hotly anticipated Fourth Annual Hottest Chef in Las Vegas Competition to match the hot, hot heat of Sin City.

Here's how we're going to do it: 36 chefs will compete in eight preliminary rounds of four chefs each with Eater Vegas readers doing the voting. As there were significantly fewer lady chefs nominated than guy chefs, we've mixed them in with everyone else.

The winners from each round will then compete in the finals to determine the dreamiest, sexiest, hottest chef in Las Vegas, who will then go on to compete on Eater National against the winners from our sister sites in New York, Miami, Austin, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The first round will kick off at 10 a.m. today so be ready to vote Sidenote: we'll be keeping a close watch on any suspicious behavior, so please no ballot-stuffing, because disqualifications are always an option. Let's make it a clean fight.
