Piecing together Andrew Zimmern’s tweets from yesterday, it appears the host of Bizarre Foods, in town to shoot the 100th episode of the show, tried the $750 cupcake at Sweet Surrender at the Palazzo and dined at Scarpetta at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Monday, then noshed on the chocolates at Jean-Philippe Chocolates and Pastries at Bellagio and a got behind-the-scenes tour of Bellagio with executive chef Edmund Wong yesterday.
Former defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Warren Sapp joined Zimmern backstage at Jean-Philippe Chocolates and Pastries and signed autographs for the staff. On Monday, Zimmern also spent some time with Paul Bartolotta at Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare at Wynn Las Vegas.
Here’s a look at some of the tweets Zimmern sent out during his Valentine’s Day tour of Vegas:
“Insane day w Ed and a team of 5000 F&B pros. Volume and quality CAN be synonymous. Bravo,” Zimmern tweeted.
“Me, pointing at famous chocolatiere : "he's a chocolate guru" @QBKILLA replies: "so am I" Great hanging as always w my pal Warren Sapp,” another Zimmern tweet says.
“@conantnyc You shouldn't have!! Epic meal at Scarpetta @cosmopolitan_LV 9 courses of perfection #truffletagliolini See you Wednesday!”
“@venetianvegas offers a 750$ cupcake. Are you in?”
