A parade of celebrities seemed to walk into Lily Bar & Lounge Saturday night for the grand opening of the boutique lounge on the casino floor at Bellagio. Everywhere you turned, a star sat in the ring of VIP booths that line the gold and mahogany bar. Lilies blossomed from vases to provide spotlights of white in the dark club, and pretty girls with trays of champagne and cocktails kept the crowd quenched.
Over there, Whitney Port, the fashion designer who was on The Hills. We spotted her earlier in the evening dining at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge. Mark Salling from Glee was there, sporting a Mohawk-like hairdo that we saw earlier in the night walking through the casino. Eliza Dushku from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and her boyfriend Rick Fox, the former LA Lakers star and now actor, snuggle up over there. Cee Lo Green, who performed later in the night at Haze Nightclub over at Aria, stopped in. Hometown boy and singer Ne-Yo even made an appearance. Billy Burke from Twilight and Carly Chaikin and Parker Young from Suburgatory are over there. Even Alexandra Richards, the daughter of Patti Hansen and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, is on the decks.
The big question of the night was whether Robin Thicke, the R&B singer, would actually be playing at the baby grand piano set up toward the back of the club. He was arrested for marijuana possession on Friday. But show up he did around midnight, singing "Lost Without You" before heading to The Bank Nightclub for the Lily after-party.
