Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and shareholders Robert De Niro and Meir Teper toured the rooms and suites of what will become the world’s first Nobu Hotel, reviewing furnishings and handpicking design elements for the 180-room hotel-within-a-hotel yesterday.
Nobu Hotel general manager Gigi Vega also led the shareholders on a full tour of the facilities and restaurant space where they discussed overall design and construction plans.
They even left their mark on the new tower. Matsuhisa joined De Niro, Teper and Caesars Palace regional president Gary Selesner and autographed the Nobu construction wall that marks the site where Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Lounge will make its home this fall.
