What happens to everything inside a nightclub after it closes? Las Vegas Weekly takes a look at the now-shuttered Studio 54 at the MGM Grand and finds some items stored, others repurposed. “From the club’s mirror balls to its branded souvenirs to its iconic “moon and spoon” sign, anything and everything that bears the club’s name is being stored on MGM property in crates inside a warehouse.” Other clubs such as Jet at the Mirage sold their goodies at auction.
