Drai’s After Hours celebrates 15 years on the Strip tonight by debuting Jamie Jones on the turntables. Las Vegas Weekly sat down with Victor Drai to look back on the past 15 years in Vegas and look forward to the future. There he says he has plans to open a dayclub in Vegas.
“We hope so, yea. We’re talking with Caesars about a huge project. Hopefully we will be able to announce that in the next few weeks or few months,” he says.
Eater Vegas has the inside scoop on his future plans. Drai plans to take over Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall and build a rooftop club that’s a hybrid between Drai’s Hollywood and XS Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas, where he was formerly a partner.
The earliest the club would open is 2014, BUT, and that’s a big BUT, the project needs to be approved by Caesars Entertainment, which owns Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall. Stay tuned as this develops.
