Though originally slated to open next month, the SLS Miami appears to now be taking resys, but not until June 14! SLS parent company sbe purchased the Sahara here in Las Vegas last year only to shutter it, with a renovation and reopening scheduled for 2014. The company has Hyde at the Bellagio.

Rates for the SoBe outpost start at $325 for a standard room (but are discounted to $292.50 for AMEX card holders).

Meanwhile, while SLS Vegas should debut in 2014, parent company sbe is in fact looking to open another hotel in New York City. Both properties are expected to feature a number of the collections of restaurants already in place in Los Angeles and will definitely have nightlife components. SLS Los Angeles includes The Bazaar by José Andrés, while sbe operates Cleo at the Redbury Hotel and Gladstones on the Pacific Coast Highway, for example, and Abbey Food and Bar in West Hollywood among others.

What’s more, our sources state that, “Umami [Burger] is [also] considering a number of sites in the Vegas market” as well.  —David Morris
