Playboy Club Closing in June at the Palms

No more bunny tails and ears prancing about at the Playboy Club come summer. The Washington Post reports that the Playboy Club at the Palms will close in June.

“No reason was given, and no specific date was set. A statement released Friday by casino and N9NE Group spokesman Larry Fink said the parting was amicable so each could “pursue new brand opportunities in Las Vegas nightlife.”

Sadly, this is the first Playboy Club to open nationwide in 2006 since Hugh Hefner shuttered the Lansing, Mich., edition in 1988.
