Quick update on the Southern Nevada Health District’s re-inspection of Estiatorio Milos at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The SNHD finally posted the results of the re-inspection conducted on March 12 and only found one demerit and gave the restaurant an A. On March 1, the restaurant racked up 40 demerits during an inspection by the SNHD, just one point away from being shut down by health inspectors.
Milos was named one of the top 10 restaurants in Las Vegas by food critics John Curtas, Max Jacobson and Al Mancini in their book Eating Las Vegas.
If an establishment receives more than 40 demerits, it is closed immediately.
