The 1 OAK nightclubs in Las Vegas at the Mirage and New York have filed a lawsuit in federal court against a California man they claim is infringing on 1 OAK trademarks. Butter IPH LLC, a 1 OAK holding company, filed suit Friday in federal court in Las Vegas against Jayson Sanchez, who has a company in Los Angeles called "1oak Entertainment Group.'' “The suit says Sanchez and his firm use the trademarks in connection with an artist and music management company that books musical acts at nightclubs, restaurants, bars and lounges throughout the country. The holding company is seeking an injunction blocking Sanchez from using the "1oak" name.” [VI]
