Luna Rossa and Fremont Mediterranean Cafe Open

Neonopolis looks like it’s finally getting back up on its feet. Two new restaurants joined the fray there this week. Luna Rossa Ristorante already has one locale down at the Village at Lake Las Vegas. Now it has a second location near the Heart Attack Grill on Fremont Street. Look for thin-crust pizzas, risotto and pasta dishes at this family-owned biz open for lunch and dinner.

And next door, the Fremont Mediterranean Cafe offers up falafel, hummus and baba ghanoush along with charbroiled meat and fish kabobs, pita pockets, wraps and a lamb burger.
