While Vegas may be decadent, you can still find healthy dining in the city. Cooking Light takes a look at some of the healthy spots you can find in Sin City.
Eateries off the Strip get even more coverage than on.
At Raku, writer Brock Radke says, “The most adored eatery—and the after-hours haunt of every industry pro and celebrity chef in town—is Raku, an artsy izakaya renowned for precision, presentation, and simple, clean Japanese flavors. The house-made soft tofu in a dazzling dashi broth is a favorite.”
The vegan program at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas make the list. Two years ago, “Chef Tal Ronnen helped hone vegan menus at each of the resorts' restaurants, which all boast not just an entrée or two, but full vegan offerings from starters to dessert.”
The herb-infused cocktails at Vanguard Lounge make the cut, as well as the relatively new Bread & Butter.
Missing? The healthy dishes at Canyon Ranch Grill at the Palazzo and the NM Cafe inside Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall. Each shows the calories, fat and more on their menus.
