Two restaurants felt the wrath of the Southern Nevada Health District in recent weeks. Jugoo Chinese Restaurant, 4747 S. Maryland Parkway, was shut down March 15 after receiving 49 demerits. “Violations included employee observed sneezing into hand and returning to work with food. Raspados las Penguinos, Tijuana Taco Stand, 2300 N. Rainbow Blvd., was also found its doors closed March 15 “because of a lack of adequate employee toilets and handwashing facilities.” [LVRJ]
