Kabuki Japanese Restaurant is opening its second Las Vegas location today at Tivoli Village. The restaurant serves up traditional Japanese fare such as sushi and sashimi, rolls and entrees as well as Kabuki specialties such as miso marinated black cod and garlic scallop with mushroom. Even the dessert menu features Japanese treats. Kids age 10 and under have their own menu to introduce them to the cuisine.
On the beverage menu, look for sake as well as traditional and Asian-infused cocktails, Japanese and domestic beers and more. The beverage program is lead by Master Sake Sommelier Yuji Matsumoto, currently one-of-two Master Samurai Sake Sommeliers in North America.
During their opening week, Kabuki Restaurants will partner with the family and friends of Strength For Jaxon, a group created for 10-year-old Summerlin resident Jaxon Piro. A year ago, Jaxon was diagnosed with Anaplastic Medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that attacks the brain. To help raise money for his treatments and other medical costs, Kabuki will be donating $4 from every kids meal sold between March 28 and April 3 at their new Tivoli Village restaurant as well as at their other Las Vegas restaurant in Town Square to Strength For Jaxon. To learn more about Jaxon and offer your own help, go to www.strengthforjaxon.com.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. Kabuki also features a happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and a reverse happy hour from 9 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
