Could chef Kerry Simon be considering a move into the chain restaurant world? Last week, the “rock n’ roll chef” told a restaurant industry conference in Seattle that he’s thinking about expanding his casual KGB: Kerry's Gourmet Burgers that he has at Harrah's Las Vegas.
He’s also considering a foray into a golf-themed restaurant with comedian and actor Bill Murray. The duo met as teenagers when they worked together at a Little Caesar’s Pizza. Murray and his five brothers have Caddyshack in St. Augustine, Fla., that they opened about a decade ago. The golf-themed restaurant is inspired by the 1980 movie by the same name.
But wait, there’s more. Simon even told the crowd that he has a pizza concept as well. “I have this Simon Says concept in my head.”
