While the pharmacy at White Cross Drugs closed yesterday and the main part of the store that opened in 1955 will stay open through the end of March, the adjoining Tiffany’s Café plans to stay open. Owner Teddy Pappas says the 24-7 1950s-style diner plans to stay. The pharmacy filled the prescriptions for celebrities including Elvis Presley, comedian Rip Taylor, singers Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., actor Tony Curtis, rapper Ludacris and even illusionists Siegfried and Roy.
