More details on Lucky Rice just arrived. The annual New York culinary festival brings its Vegas Night Market to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for the first time on June 23 from 8 to 11 p.m. with a VIP experience from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Boulevard Pool. Tickets go on sale today at www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com. Tickets are priced at $88, with a limited amount of VIP tickets available for $125, which includes early access to the event.
The event features Asian street foods from 20 participating chefs including Lucky Rice Culinary Council members Susur Lee (Top Chef Masters/Lee, Toronto), Pichet Ong (Qi, New York) and Angelo Sosa (Top Chef All-Stars/Social Eatz, New York).
Asian cuisine chefs from around the country such as Sang Yoon (Lukshon, Los Angeles), Jordan Kahn (Red Medicine, Los Angeles), Dale Talde (Top Chef/Talde, New York), Eddie Huang (Baohaus, New York), Jet Tila (The Charleston, Los Angeles), Paul Qui (Top Chef Texas winner/Uchi, Austin) and Charles Phan (Slanted Door, San Francisco) will also be showcasing their foods.
In addition, the event will feature celebrated local chefs from Las Vegas including Saipin Chutima (Lotus of Siam), Colin Fukunaga and Robert “Mags” Magsalin (Fukuburger), Takashi Segawa (Monta) and Mitsuo Endo (Raku) along with the Cosmopolitan’s David Myers (Comme Ça), Shirley Chung (China Poblano by José Andrés), Anthony Meidenbauer (Holsteins) and Gerald Chin (Wicked Spoon).
Cocktails featuring Bombay Sapphire East created by Tony Abou-Ganim, Duggan McDonnell (Cantina, San Francisco) and the Cosmopolitan’s resident mixologists will also be on hand.
