Catfish Alley Swallows a Location at Hawaiian Marketplace

Catfish Alley now has a location on the Las Vegas Strip. The home of fried catfish now has a space at the Hawaiian Marketplace across from CityCenter.

The restaurant opened last Saturday with a star-studded lineup that included Otis Williams of the Temptations, Jackie Jackson of The Jackson 5, Mary Wilson of The Supremes, Bubba Knight of Gladys Knight & the Pips, LaMonte McLemore, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis of The 5th Dimension, J. D. Nicholas of The Commodores, Harry Elston of The Friends of Distinction, Clarence Collins of Little Anthony & the Imperials, author Farrah Gray, Richard Roundtree, London-based concert promoter David Gest and Jason Winters, manager of Janet Jackson.

Catfish Alley features Southern-style dishes such as fried catfish, shrimp and chicken and home-cooked side dishes from recipes passed down for generations such as fried green beans, corn nuggets, black-eyed peas, peach cobbler and sweet potato pie.

The restaurant, which already has a location in the Southeast, plans to open 300 restaurants across around the country in the next five years.
