The pop-up dinner ChowDownTown plans to take over The Flame Steakhouse at El Cortez for its May 16 dinner. For the first time, founders Jolene Mannina and Joshua Clark are spreading out the reservations from 6:30 to 9 p.m. instead of holding one big dinner at a set time. Mannina says she’s hoping that 150 will sign up for the special night.
“Josh and I are ridiculously excited to take over The Flame for a night,” Mannina says.
Eater Vegas got a preview of the menu that includes four courses and an amuse bouche, but Mannina asked that it not be published. One dish won’t even be listed on the menu, so prepare to be surprised.
The cost is $45 per person, but unlike the other dinners, this one will not be BYOB.
The last event, held at the Ogden, sold out as soon as Mannina posted ticket information. Other pop-ups have been held at Le Thai.
Guests can book their tables on Open Table starting April 25 or by calling the restaurant at 702-474-3660.
