O’Sheas goes by the wayside April 30 when it closes permanently at noon to make way for the Linq, a $550 million entertainment center that opens in 2013. The 23-year-old casino isn’t going down without a fight. During the final hours, guests can land discounted memorabilia, live entertainment and drink specials.
A smaller version of the casino will end up being a part of the Linq when it reopens. In the meantime, guests can empty the last tap starting at 6 a.m. Thursday, April 19, with $1 drafts of Miller Lite and $4 souvenir shots. That special goes on daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. until the casino closes or the liquor is gone.
From noon Sunday, April 29, through close on Monday, bands including Bullzeye and Rock Your Soul play. Guests can grab free shots as well. Also from noon on Saturday, April 28, until close, guests can nab $5 beer and shot combinations that includes a commemorative shot glass.
Guests can also sign the signature wall, which will be photographed with Lucky the Leprechaun and placed in the new O’Sheas location within the Linq.
