Chow Mein Express at 3955 S. Durango Drive felt the wrath of the Southern Nevada Health District when it was shut down on April 19 after inspectors gave the restaurant 46 demerits during a routine inspection. Inspectors found the restaurant was operating outside the parameter of its permit, storing foods at improper temperatures and not protecting foods from contamination during storage and prep, as well as from chemicals. The SNHD routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. [EaterWire]
